Bryan, Way to lighten the load! That was very funny! Eddie has gotten better over the years but it pays to be a PJ fan and know the words yourself!-lol Last year in Newark,NJ during his solo tour he took a Q&A from the audience & explained the song. It’s a very sad song about a soldier dying in the Gulf War & his brother,a grunge looking kid, walking the streets in Seattle looking for an answer why. He sees older folk sitting on their porch,a flag hanging from their house. He waves to them, saying my brother died for that flag but because of his look, they instead show him disdain which hurts him even more. On a lighter note, today I got tickets for both PJ shows in the Philly Spectrum in Oct. & they will be the last act to play there before it is leveled.
Works for me. I never knew what the hell he was singing.
