Musician. Producer. Engineer.
I was the bassist for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, a nationally touring band, from 2004-2009. I have recorded on over 7 albums (including live releases), playing multiple instruments including: mandolin, upright and electric bass, sitar, Moog Synthesizer, baritone guitar, and theremin. I have produced several records for local Vermont musicians, helping those with little to no recording experience push their musical boundaries. I have also been working on a solo EP, in which I wrote all the music, played all the instruments, engineered, and mixed the songs. I am planning to continue this DIY approach by doing the album art and layout, as well as hand pressing every cd. The EP is scheduled for release in March. My other passions include writing, fly fishing, gardening, cooking, wine making, and more recently, Taiko drums and Aikido.
