Hi Bryan, I just wanted to give you some support.
I was once in a band, thirty years ago, we had a hit record, and then I was not selected for the tour for what I think of as political reasons...friends of friends wanted my job...etc.
But I am amazed that your detailed blog of yesterday is now a 404, but I'm not shocked. You said a lot of things, and now I wish I'd copied it...you spoke well.
I find it amusing how "Grace" answered in legalese.

I've seen you guys play, and I don't think you were "the problem". The problem was just a metamorphosis, and you were part of the old GPN, not of the new.
I hope you have great success, and I think you were quite level headed in your "exit interview" with Grace. Grace indeed. Best of luck!

Bryan, Way to lighten the load! That was very funny! Eddie has gotten better over the years but it pays to be a PJ fan and know the words yourself!-lol Last year in Newark,NJ during his solo tour he took a Q&A from the audience & explained the song. It's a very sad song about a soldier dying in the Gulf War & his brother,a grunge looking kid, walking the streets in Seattle looking for an answer why. He sees older folk sitting on their porch,a flag hanging from their house. He waves to them, saying my brother died for that flag but because of his look, they instead show him disdain which hurts him even more. On a lighter note, today I got tickets for both PJ shows in the Philly Spectrum in Oct. & they will be the last act to play there before it is leveled.

Speaking of wolf spiders . . . they inhabit my basement, where the washer is. Once I caught one on the wall so big that it was a challenge to fit a canning jar over it. A sad experience was when two of them started hanging out way close to the switch I had to use for the tubs. I resorted to poison (usually catch things and put them outside, but position of these things prevented that). They made two fairly loud “thuds” when they fell to the floor, and that was bad enough; but when I went down to do the next load, they had tried to go back to their lair and were both dead side-by-side right in my path to the washer. Still makes me sad.

I've been checking back periodically. Glad you're posting again. The article is very interesting, and the video [extremely funny - don't want to reuse your adjective]. I laughed all through it, but especially at the kitchen scene. Thanks for a feel-good moment in a not-so-good day so far.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the "business" out of the music business. As a business owner, I understand the need for profits and viable products, but the combination of art with profit and loss statements has always left a bad taste in my mouth.

First, waiting for a cooler day to mow isn't lazy, it's heat stroke prevention.

Second, 3 seconds is a life time, any where near a spider. I'm twitching just thinking about it. Bah!
